Join the Band
We are constantly
looking to add new members to most sections of the ensemble.
If you have played professionally or
were comfortable playing in an ensemble while in high school or college,
bring your
instrument down from the attic and come join us for a night of fun and
fellowship. Call Paul at 845-429-1096 to discuss admission
requirements prior to attending a rehearsal. The band is open to all competent, adult musicians.
The band performs many different styles of music: classical, show tunes,
movie themes, and
marches. We are looking for musicians
who can play in tune and read music fluently. We play ten to twelve concerts per
year and regularly perform at the Rockland
Community College Cultural Arts Center, and for the towns of Haverstraw, Nanuet, Pearl River,
Montebello, Suffern, Hillburn and
Park
Ridge.
Rehearsals
The Concert Band rehearses every Tuesday night from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Reflections Swing Band rehearses every Thursday from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Locations
The concert band rehearsal takes place at the Nanuet Senior High School band room during the normal school year.
During the Summer we rehearse in the Simons Auditorium of the Rockland Conservatory located at 7 Perlman Drive, Spring Valley, NY
